Sony today released the official title for Marc Webb’s Spiderman re-boot due out summer 2012; ‘The Amazing Spiderman’. Judging from the title and the new image also released with the announcement we can see Webb has gone right back to the comic books, just look at the webshooters on Spidey’s wrist or his iconic stance.
It’s a good title, nicely capturing the firmly ‘teenage’ take Webb wants to take with the film. We should all be thankful for the fact that it’s not ‘Spiderman 2.0’ or, even worse ‘Spiderman: The Teenage Years’.
